Dr. George A. Sarosi, a graduate of Harvard Medical School
served his housestaff training at the University of Minnesota where
he was also Chief Resident. Following two years service in Communicable
Diseases Center (Center for Disease Control) he joined the faculty
at the University of Minnesota. Subsequent to that he served on
the faculty of the University of Texas-Houston, Stanford University
and is currently a Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School
of Medicine and Chief of the Medical Service at the Indianapolis
VA Medical Center. Dr. Sarosi is the author of approximately two
hundred publications, and has authored two books - Fungal Diseases
of the Lung, now in its third edition and Respiratory Infections
(Co-authored with Dr. Michael Niederman and Jeffrey Glassroth),
currently in its second edition. In addition, he is founding editor
and current Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly, Seminars in Respiratory
Infections.
